Curves sponsored artist Leslie Wilson and her dragon fly, "Dragon the Line"

Rudy Gunter with his creation of "Desert Silhouettes", is the only project that has a  sponsorship by a individual, local resident Carl Morck is very involved in the community and want to have more art work out and visable. Rudy, former art teacher at the High School, incorporated many horses in his piece. If you look closely you will the silhouettes of running, rearing and herds of horse. See how many you can come up with!

Sue Bozner, owner of the Mustang Motel stands by her sponsored piece, "Cassandra - Garden Goddess" painted by artist Angie Bennett. Angie had this to say about her creation, "Cassandra-The Garden Goddess reigns over a whimsical garden. Her name gave me a theme. I used bright happy colors with garden symbols. Cassandra's garden is pure fantasy. She wears a smile and hopes that people who see her will have a smile also. I have enjoyed painting this giant metal sculpture. It is the first project of this size that I have tried".

Twin Pines Realty
has once again sponsored Travis Hart. Travis and his daughter Caitlin's piece name "Equine Ethereal" echo the wonderful day and night skies here in Green River.

Artist Janis Hughes, poses with sponsors, Verna Lynn Hatfield of Bronze Bay Tanning and Anita Bolt, owner of the Skin Care Salon. "Jade Empress" is embellished with mosaic tiles and the wing have peacock swirls with secret messages and Chinese symbols.

"Desert Paint"
was created by Mary Shaw for sponsor, Castle Rock Veterinary Clinic. Mary's 3-dimensional piece of art work was created by using spray insulating foam over the metal cut-out. One side of the horse features wild running horses while the other side has pronghorns.

The Coachman Motel, with owners Linda Faloni & Scott Hamel,  sponsored, "Quilted Freedom Fly", a Theresa Stark Creation. The art work is embellished with 3-D Stars all over the body and head.

"Tranquility" by artist and Middle School art Teacher, Jeff Bernal is sponsored by China Gardens and Brokerage Southwest. This is the only fish cutout for this year.

Golden Hour Senior Citizen were very excited about the Tall Tails project this year and convinced the Fraternal Order of Eagles to sponsor their art work. Several Senior Citizens worked on the piece named "Green River the American Dream".  One side of the dragonfly has a flying eagle in red, white & blue and the other side is a panoramic representation of Castle Rock, Tollgate and the Palisades.

Scott Blume stands with his creation " Desert Spirit" that was sponsored by the State Bank of Green River. This is the second year that the State Bank has sponsored Scott's creations that are done all with spray paint!

Julie Williams' art work was sponsored by Sweetwater Cable TV. "Techni-Fly", evolved from the initial research she did on the construction of a dragonfly's wing and the similarities she noticed between it and Sweetwater Cable TV. At first, she was captivated by the tile=like appearance and the challenge seem to be in giving each individual block its own unique color. She says, "But, as I become more involved, I realized the network of lines was just as important in creating the "bigger picture". Finally, the colors began to mesh and the overall pattern fell into place, creating the wing network and ultimately resulting in the "Techni-fly you see today."

Dave Hatfield, District Manager of Western Gas Resources poses with artist Teryl Hartman and her creation, "Palisades Pixie".
