25^th & 26^th Art on the Green-Life on the Green-Expedition Island , held in conjunction with the Powell Plunge River Festival.  Life size sculptures will be displayed.  Sculptures will be have 24 hours to create a sculpture.  Cash prizes will be awarded to the winner Saturday evening during the reception.

2^nd Parade of Lights and Fireworks, Lucerne Marina will be hosting the Annual Labor Day Weekend Parade of Lights. Participants decorate their boats with all sorts of lights and then "Parade" through Lucerne Bay . Following the Parade a fireworks display will be shot off a barge in the bay. Events begin at dusk. JUNE

2^nd & 3^rd  Overland Stage Stampede, Green River Rodeo Grounds, The Overland Stage Stampede Committee and the City of Green River , Parks and Recreation Department host this annual event. The rodeo is sanctioned with the Intermountain Professional Rodeo Association and the Wyoming Rodeo Association.  It features over $4,100 in added purse money for contestants, and had over 230 entries last year.  This year should be even better.  So mark your calendars and plan to attend.
