The mission of the Sweetwater County Child Developmental Center, SCCDC is to improve the quality of life of children with and without disabilities and their families through an early developmental education and therapy program.

The Center provides early intervention services to children  between the ages of birth to five who have disabilities.  The birth through 2 population receives their services in the home.  The parents are trained to work with their children in the natural environments.  When these children turn three, the services are provided in a center-based preschool.  This preschool also serves children who do not have disabilities.  The preschools are very well staffed with three teachers in every classroom.  The program has centers in Green River and Rock Springs.  The Green River Center is located at 1825 Alabama.  The center provides the following  professional services:

Physical Therapy
Speech/language therapy
Occupational Therapy
